Focused on the things we think matter most and deliberately designed to fit into one term, Reach short courses help participants ‘kick start’ a process of improvement in their school. Whether you are looking to launch an instructional coaching programme in your department, update your curriculum or build stronger relationships with parents, Reach short courses will help get you started.
Who are the courses for?
Our courses are for teachers and school leaders with a bias to action and eagerness to make change.
Whether you are a newly appointed Assistant Head ready to embark on a school wide improvement project, a recently qualified teacher with a desire to continue improving and learning, or an aspiring head of year, our courses will support you to act and, in doing so, to grow.
We only have one requirement for participation: You need to be willing to be open to sharing your challenges and successes and dissecting them with equal rigour with the group. We want to work with people who want to learn together. (We know we can't really guarantee this but it is really important to us!)
Our courses are designed to support you to take action in school. We know that humans are much more likely to commit to action if we have a peer helping us learn and holding us to account. So our costs are designed to encourage people to sign up in pairs or threes:
Cost for one person: £400
Cost for two people from the same school: £500
Cost for three people from the same school: £600 for three people.
We offer a 20% discount for schools that sign up for two courses in one academic year and a 30% discount if you sign up for three courses in one year.
